Grateful to be Recognised as a Distinguished Speaker 2021 by SQA

In 2017, the SQA Learning Foundation (SQA-LF) launched a Distinguished Speakers Inventory, and so, I was invited to be included in the 2021 class of Distinguished Speakers!

What Is the Distinguished Speakers Inventory?

The purpose of the SQA-LF's Distinguished Speakers Inventory is two-fold:

First, the Inventory is intended to provide the SQA organization with a mechanism to fulfill requests for QA speakers and/or presentations from organizations other than SQA/SQA-LF.

Second, the Inventory is intended to provide recognition to SQA members who consistently present at SQA events and are evaluated at a high level by their peers. Members are invited to join the Inventory on an annual basis (i.e., being part of the 2021 Inventory does not guarantee your inclusion in the 2022 Inventory).

Why Was I Invited to Join the Inventory?

I guess I am a enthousiast keynote speaker or lectures and so I presented at an SQA event at least two times within the last three years; the average of my evaluation scores is 4 out of 5 or higher for all of your presentations in the last three years; and yes I am a current member of SQA.

What Is Expected of Distinguished Speakers?

Once accepted this SQA invitation, I will be asked to agree and Fulfil additional responsibilities:

1. Distinguished Speakers are responsible for maintaining their SQA membership for the year(s) they are listed in the Inventory.

2. Distinguished Speakers are responsible for considering each presentation request shared with them by the Committee and accepting all such offers as they can accommodate given their personal and work schedules and their financial ability.

3. Distinguished Speakers are responsible for representing SQA and SQA-LF, not simply themselves, when they are giving a presentation in fulfillment of an Inventory request. This responsibility may include allowing SQA/SQA-LF to review presentation materials in advance if requested and/or promoting SQA/SQA-LF events or programs before, during, or after the presentation if requested.

4. Distinguished Speakers are responsible for upholding SQA’s Ethics Policy.

What Are the Benefits of Being a Distinguished Speaker?

All members of the Distinguished Speaker Inventory will be identified publicly on the SQA-LF website so that claims of being a Distinguished Speaker can be independently verified. In addition, Distinguished Speakers will be recognized in the SQA newsletter, with badge ribbons at SQA events, and with a digital badge that can be added to your email signature, LinkedIn profile, and/or website.

Finally, we will will benefit from the professional networking and exposure that presentation opportunity represents.
